Welcome back to Little Oaks. Our new topic this half term is Muddy Fingers. We have started our new topic this week by planting some grass seeds to make grass heads. The Children have enjoyed drawing a face on to their plant pot and are now waiting for the grass hair to grow. We talked together about plants needing water and sunshine to help them grow.
Little Oaks have worked together to create our own Easter Garden to put on display on the Easter Exhibition in the school hall this week. The Children have also been exploring different Easter activities in the classroom. We have made Easter chick cards, Easter hats, painting eggs using cotton buds to create patterns, hooking ducklings in the water tray and today we made chocolate nests.
Happy Easter Everyone!! Little Oaks enjoyed getting out and about in the sunshine at Woodland Workshop this week. There were some Easter activities to enjoy and our usual Mud Kitchen, Charcoal painting on stones, Mallets and sticks and Frozen Flowers.
