The autumn weather has well and truly set in but the children continue to be enthusiastic and eager to explore the outdoors. This week the children enjoyed investigating the sounds of autumn such as the crunchy leaves. We finished off the session with hot chocolate and 'The Gruffalo' around the camp.
The children explored a range of gardening tools and how they could be used safely. Little Oaks then worked together to collect up the leaves and clear the garden.
The children enjoyed using paint and fly swats to make firework splat pictures. The children enjoyed sharing their own experiences of firework night and we also discussed how to stay safe.
The children have begun visiting the school library on a weekly basis. They have enjoyed exploring and handling a variety of different books.
