This week at Little Oaks we have been reading the story of The Enormous Turnip. The Children have enjoyed learning the actions to retell the story. We also enjoyed going out onto the school field to play 'Tug of War' continuing our story of pulling the turnip out.
This week we have been focusing on the story, 'Farmer Duck', Today some of the Little Oaks children helped to retell the story of farmer duck through role play.
The Children enjoyed tasting some rhubarb from the school allotment today. They helped Mrs Quelcuti to collect it and brought it back to the classroom. Some of the children had a go at cutting up the rhubarb ready to cook it. .
